  • OCTOBER 15th SUNSHINE REGION AACA MEETING AT STICKNEY POINT ROAD IN SARAOTA AT 7 pm.

    The meeting opened at 7 following an inpromptu meeting outside the bank.There were twenty members present with no visitors.Many thanks to Sam and Marlies Upton for supplying the refreshments.

    January was our holiday party at Bentley's and Jim Lynch took the pictures there.

  • 43 rd DEVEREAUX KAISER SHOW--JANUARY 29th

    Our 43 rd show was hosted by the Sunshine Region AACA at the Sarasota Square Mall on US 41 and Beneva Road in Sarasota.It was a show that surpassed last year in cars, visitors, and vendors.Our site was on the US 41 side of the mall and its location was tight.We could not close off the entrance to the mall to customer traffic and thus participants found it a long process to park their cars.We had the gamut of cars from hotrods to antiques to military vehicles.We even had a boat.But we did manage to have a Kaiser!

  • 2011 DECEMBER MEETING

    There were fifty-one present at our meeting at the Bank of America on Siesta Drive.We acknowledged the minutes of last month and recorded our financial status.We welcomed a visitor, Frank Labone. The refreshments were served by Lois and Ed Greer.After the meeting we headed up Siesta Key to view the Christmas decorations and meandered to St. Armand's Circle to end our tour with ice cream at Kilwin's.The event was received with favorable comments.
